Unlike the previous one, the Northern Sector is characterized by generally very gentle slopes, particularly in the Ciocchini-Loschetto and Corini-Pallaretta MGAs, where the soils are mostly of the evolved type and an expression of the laminated Sant’Agata Fossil Marls.

In contrast, the case of the Bergera-Pezzole MGA is different, where the slope is often significant and the soils consequently shallower, while the southeast exposure and almost mirroring the two previous MGAs (west).

Of the three Sectors identified, the Northern Sector is now the one in which Nascetta is least widespread, which does not, however, imply a lesser vocation for this grape variety.
